Debut album from young London electronic composer. Treatingcello and voice recordings with the music software Super Collider, she creates process music, whereby the pieces are allowed to "grow" autonomously like plants. Inspired by patterns in nature, the music, with its chiming tones and ambient washes, is comparable to Brian Eno, Oval or the minimalism of Steve Reich.

Mileece writes generative software programs based on natural phenomema. If that sounds like something dry, academic and charmless, take it from me, it's not. Her music is achingly beautiful - a real find. If you like Steve Reich's pattern pieces you'll love this.
