You never know with a film like this. You may often be disappointed, as the quality is oftenly well below expectations. Not so with this one! It features Procol Harum live in studio, from
Germany, late 1971 (I've learned elsewere). PH (Brooker, Wilson,
Copping, Cartwright and Ball- same line-up as on the Edmonton Symph. Orchestra record)- play songs from all their 5 first albums. Very ably performed, and picture and sound are relatively good, too. As far as I can tell, what you hear is what they play; no dirty tricks involved. There's some slightly psychedelic effects visually here and there. At the end (dvd lasts 50+ minutes)there's two songs from a little later in their carreer. Now with Mick Grabham instead of Ball on guitar. One of the songs being Grand Hotel- complete with mandolin performed by B.J. Wilson. Myself I was very positively surprised by this dvd!
