4.0 out of 5 stars Great - but parts 1 & 2 are better, 17 Sep 2002
This is the third part in an awesome set (you really must own part 1 and 2), and whilst this is a good single (let's face it, great by Bowie's "Mr Remix" standards). This actually has new songs on it. Whatever next, Bowie?!

A-Side first, and the best Bowie single in... far too long. Pop songwriting at it's best. "When The Boys Come Marching Home", is a bit of a plodder to be honest, and sounds like a "Hours" out-take. Next up is the piano led "Shadow Man", a tender song with Bowie in great form. A sparse, barren sound makes this sound almost like an Elton John song. Very good.

So there you have it. Worth having, but get parts 1 & 2 first.
