If this song was released thirty years ago, it would be a Bowie standard, a much imitated classic. As it is now, only Bowie fans will probably hear it. Which is a real shame, because it's a gorgeous, heart felt pop-ballad with a chorus to die for and a knowing sense of the past (check the doo-wop's at the end). Superb.

Unlike the majority of Bowie singles, this isn't filled with remixes. In fact, the single is sprawled over three parts, and the first new songs are "Safe", a decent stab at an epic rock tune, where Bowie actually sounds like Ozzy Ozbourne in the chorus. Also included is "Wood Jackson", an excellent moody pop tune that sounds like Ashes To Ashes era Bowie.

Excellent single. Check out the other two parts as well.
