Product Description
Manufacturer's Description
Outlaw Golf is a caddy-beating, full contact whirlwind of a game that will have golf fans and gamers alike spinning, slicing, hooking, putting, breaking and reaching for the sunscreen. Choose from 10 outrageous characters with attitude which range from outlaws, inebriated hooligans, white rappers, criminals, malfeasant doctors, Latin lovers, biker girls and strippers. Gameplay takes place over three challenging 18-hole courses, each demonstrating their own unique, bizarre and game-enhancing characteristics including the underside of a Jersey Turnpike, the dust bowl of El Diablo course and the trees and trailer parks of Crusty Leaf Country Club. Outlaw Golf will test your temper with its scientifically-perfected "composure response system" so the better you play the smoother the controls become, but the worse you play the harder it is to keep your cool. Composure can be regained by focusing, concentrating and getting your game right but if all else fails and you need to let off some steam... take it out on your caddy!

4.0 out of 5 stars best golf game ive played, 21 Jun 2004
By A Customer
you start off with 4 crap chatacters. You have to go to the training area and complete different challenges such as driving, chipping, puttting and long balls onto the green.

Every time you complete a challenge, you get points to spend on your character to improve their ability. It is a very hard game to play, but annoyingly addictive.

The golf aspect itself is also hard to learn. using the c-stick, you have to pull it down till you reach the power you want per shot, then slam it forward to get a perfect shot. If you dont get the c-stick perfect, you slice the ball. Driving is a doddle, chipping isnt hard...putting is a nightmare! No matter how much i practise, i still cant get it right.

best part though is you can go nuts. In a match, how you play a shot affects your confidence. Better shots mean increased confidence which makes your next shot easier and easier. Conversely, a bad shot makes the next one harder and so on. If you press the X Button inthe middle of play, you go into the "Beating Mode" where you start kicking in your caddy to increase your confidence.

In all, not a funny game as it leads you to belive, but deffo better than any other golf game in terms of enjoyment. Just the putting that puts me off.
