Product Description

Product Description

Set in the not-too-distant future on an Earth devastated by the effects of global warming, Lethal Skies puts players in the role of an elite pilot flying for an alliance to save civilisation. Players choose from among the most advanced fighter jets in the world, taking flight on numerous air-to-air and air-to-ground missions that span the globe. Lethal Skies includes accurately reproduced fighters such as the F-15, F-16, F/A-18 and F-22, as well as "black program" futuristic prototype jets that can be unlocked through gameplay. Pilots are propelled through cooperative and competitive missions to take on bombers, fighters, attack helicopters and other enemies in a progressive series of attack and defence scenarios. With stunning 3-D graphics not typically found in flight-simulation games, Lethal Skies delivers a heart-pounding experience.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good, Radical and ingenious !, 13 Mar 2003
This game can be described in one word RADICAL!
Its so brilliant. It is so realistic to the real thing.
First of all you start off with three craft an F16, Hornet and a tornado.
The weapons are vulcan cannons and missles and rockets. As you progress through the game you will unlock more planes and futuristic fighter craft.
You can unlock MIG 27s and others.

If you are thinking on buying Ace combat four forget it , buy lethal skies instead!

5.0 out of 5 stars Get this no matter what !, 13 Mar 2003
This game lethal skies, as it says you are a pilot trying to save mankind in futuristic effects of global warming.
In this game you can have dogfights with members of your squadron and their teammates. You can do the missions ( Some of them more difficult than others )my friend said that you have to shoot down a huge bomber in the sky in one mission.

One of the good things about this game is that it is like being in the cockpit of a real plane. During the game you can unlock other planes including planes of the future.

The graphics are radical and well worth buying the game for.

Some of the weapons are Cannnons, Missles, Rockets and bombs.

One note: If you buy this game you must get used to the analog stick controls as this controls the plane.

If you are planning on buying Ace Combat four you would be best forgetting it, Lethal skys has better graphics and a whole lot better ....

5.0 out of 5 stars THE GREATIST FLIGHT SIM EVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, 6 April 2003
By zak (scotland) - See all my reviews
In the not to distant futre man is destroying the Earth with global warming witch melts the polar ice caps and starts a flood witch could kill us all.
The great game leathal skies (witch is beter than any ace combat)lets you experiance the frill of flying a plane in combat with ships other fighters, bombers, tanks, mechanicle beasts,Uboats and many more you even refule escort bombers and convoys of ships.
One of the many great aspects of this game is the amazing graphics or the chioce to blur the picture slightly to give a sence of speed.Or to control the afects of the Gs (Geforce) with black outs and red outs. You have many breathtaking missions in witch you pick one of 13 planes and then arm them then put them through their paces after take of(you dont have to do this on every mission)then battle and come in to land. When you arm the plane you have wide choice of Anti-aircraft missles and Anti-ground missles.
The great planes you cane fly include the F16 fighting falcon F22 raptor F25 black owl EF2000 (Euroe fighter Typhoon) F/A18 super hornet F15E strike eagle F14D tomcat and even more.
I hope this will help you decide. Zak (plane boy as i get caled in school)
