4.0 out of 5 stars Tarantino proves he can produce good CD's, 28 Nov 2002
After buying the DVD a month or so ago, I decided to splash out on the soundtrack. And what film am I talking about? Pulp Fiction no less. The film had some great music in all the right places, so surely the music on its own would also be great. Well, yes and no, but with more emphasis on yes thankfully. There are about 4 great tunes (one of which is the now infamous "You Never Can Tell" by Chuck Berry...the one where Mia and Vincent dance if you don't know), and about 4 good tunes, and the rest are average, with one bad one. However, I managed to get the Collector's Edition, so as well as 4 bonus tracks (one of which comes under 'great tunes'), I also have a 21-minute interview with Mr Tarantino himself: well worth a listen, and actually, I have to say the same about the soundtrack as a whole.

Music on this sountrack is taken from the amazing Pulp Fiction written by Quentin Tarintino.

In my view if you are such a big fan of the movie such as I am you will love this! Between every 3 or 4 tracks is a classic piece of audio taken from the film. This C.D has all the classic tunes on it from the film which is good enough, but when you get to a track taken from the film, it will have you laughing in stitches.

Good parts are when 2 of the mafia guys are arguing about pork or the opening scene in the resturant. C.D is full of both songs stretching from the late 60's right up to the early 90's so there really is something for everyone on this.

I found with this c.d, that as there are 21 tracks on it, you can keep listening to it through and through and it is really hard to get bored of it! It also at the end of the c.d has an interview with Quentin himself so you can really get into the so called 'behind the scenes action' he also talks about the musi used in the film i.e - the music on the C.D!

In My view as I said before, if you liked the film with both it's humour and just general greatness then this soundtrack is really for you!!
