4.0 out of 5 stars What a dvd, 21 Oct 2002
By A Customer
This is a great DVD that brings back all the memories from the summer. I bought this and the goals from the World Cup DVD together as a package from amazon. I wouldn't recommend buying both, just choose one. All of the action from both DVDs is very similar. The Review has the edge because it shows a summary of the whole game not just the goals. The Goals DVD has a lot of different angles of which the goals are scored but about 5 or 6 replays of each of the 161 goals (i think) can get a bit repetetive towards the end.

The pick of the dvd would be the Argentinians crying at the end of their Sweden Group F match though thats a completely biased opinion! Just to see that South Korea goal where he almost copies Bergkamp's 98 goal against Argentina and also Dario Rodriguez's Uruguay goal against the Danes is special. And to see Seaman's second in a string of lobbing blunders (Nayim, Ronaldinho, Bolton player, Macedonian) makes you laugh as a Spurs fan and cry as an England one.

I'd choose this DVD over the goals one and i urge you strongly NOT to buy both. Just one. This one.

5.0 out of 5 stars FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, 21 Jul 2003
By charles grossman (elstree, herts United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
This review of the Fifa World cup Japan Korea 2002 is a fantastic dvd or video. It shows every single match and every single goal, of the whole tornaument. It shows David Beckham's penalty against Argentina, Ronaldo's eight goals, which was enough to win him the golden boot. Ronaldinho's freak goal agains England which sent them out of the tornaument. I have no critisicms about this dvd or video, and i suggest that you buy it, also it is a collector's item which will bring all the memories flooding back.

4.0 out of 5 stars Oriental delight !, 23 Jul 2002
By Steve Jacobs (North Manchester, England) - See all my reviews
Excellent, in a word ! The only criticism being very little shown of the opening ceremony. However every goal is shown as well as brief highlights. Chapters on every round (if you just want to watch parts of the tournament). The cosmopolitan atmosphere is captured in this production and the quality is there to be seen. Extra's include top-ten of:- Goal celebrations, skills and a page of stats to suit your middle-of-the-road anorak !! Watch, relive (over 2 hours) and enjoy. Terrific quality and extremely watchable !
