This is a garage with everything a budding car enthusiast needs: it comes complete with car wash, a working lift, barriers that go up and down and a ramp that is perfect to lift your car up in the air for oil changes or to check tyres. But the extra bit of va-voom comes from the car included with the garage. Place it between the petrol pumps and your young motorist will hear the sound of petrol glugging its way into the tank. Is the car dirty? Put it through the car wash to the sound of splishing and splashing. Park the car on the top tier of the car park and the engine sounds as if it is starting up. And when the car is pushed out of the lift, the car expresses its' excitement by declaring 'Yahoooo!'.
This is a well built, functional garage with the added benefit of the car that makes authentic noises. Two year old testers liked the garage and loved the noises from the car. One even carried the car around with her for hours making it say "Yahooo!" at very odd times. The only difficulty they had was getting the car out of the lift. It needs to be positioned perfectly and little hands might not have the strength to crank the handle hard enough to push the car down the ramp.
Overall, this is a great product. Any child who is fascinated by cars will love the noises this little car makes and will enjoy playing with the garage. And your child can use it for other cars they already own even though these won't provoke the car noises.--Lisa Ramshaw
