In Batman: Vengeance, the gritty underworld of Gotham ignites as Batman becomes the target of a nerve-rattling conspiracy. Batman discovers subtle links in these seemingly unrelated crimes, but is forced undercover after being framed for an attack on Commissioner Gordon. Hunted by the police, the Dark Knight must pinpoint the unseen enemy weaving this sinister web before Gotham City falls to a fiery demise.

Batman: Vengeance introduces the most versatile 3-D Batman game yet, with more than 500 animated movements, special fighting moves, and a multifunctional cape with its own AI. For the first time, players can journey through a fully rendered 3-D Gotham City with Batman's sleek weapons and devices at their fingertips, including the BatGrapple, BatScope, Batarang, BatLauncher, flash bombs, and more. There is a huge array of gameplay modes: exploring, fighting, first-person shooter, driving, flying, freefall, and puzzles.

The Gotham City environment, reconstructed in full 3-D, contains 19 playable maps, including the rooftops, Gotham Industrial Research, and the Batcave. There are also more than 40 minutes of cinematics featuring the original voice cast of TV's The New Batman Adventures. The game's original storyline was written in collaboration between Warner Brothers and DC Comics from the files of The New Batman Adventures. The Dolby Surround 5.1 Sound soundtrack features original music inspired by the television series.

What can i say?,This game fails on all levels. It runs poorly, is full of bugs and has a poor framerate, even on a top end PC like mine.The camera angle sucks too. The plot is weak and only features minor characters.Please save your money untill a better Batman game is released on the PC.

After reading a review in my pc games mag, I thought this game was not worth getting seeing as it was given a measly 40%. I I was wrong. After I got this game, I loaded it up onto my p.c and started playing. The game started with a fairly good cutscene and throws you right into the action. After getting to around the fith level I had worked out some good and bad points.
Some of the good points ere that some of the levels are quite challenging, and you get to drive the batmobile and a batplane. Also in your hands is a vast majority of weapons and gadgets: batcuffs, nets, batarangs,batgrapple etc.
On the bad side:
I have a feeling that the vehicles could have been designed a bit more user-friendly, and the camera angles can be slightly, shall we say, annoying at times. All of you batman fans will like the realistic enemies, sustaining the batman feel. Enemies inclues Mr. Freeze, Poision ivy, and the joker. A nice touch is that you get points at the end of each level and when you get a certain amount of points you get a special combo move. Groovy! All in all, this is a simple beat-em-up game with a bit of driving and flying to make it better. For Batman Fanatics Only
O-one other annoying thing i forgot to point out- the cutscenes sometimes get stuck and that is VERY annoying. :-(

i am a fan of some ubisoft games but for this game well no.the game started off good but later on it started to run poorly.the ps2 verison could be way better then this.
