I first saw this film when released on video a few years ago. Back then I was amazed that a flick not destined for cinema release was overlooked.

This film provides an interesting look at the 'what ifs' & 'you never know' aspect of ET possibilities. You may think 'yeah right', but watch & watch again & you start to possibly understand the theory behind the thinking of the producer & writer.

This is an excellent sci-fi thriller that defies some previously explored logic. Be prepared for some intense edge of seat gripping action. Believe me when I say you'll want to watch this one over & over again. You'll notice something deifferent & more intriguing each time.

Definitely 'ONE TO WATCH'.

Robert A. Heinlein wrote the novel "The Puppet Masters" in 1951 before Jack Finney ripped the premise for his novel "Invasion of the body snatchers" in 1955 which later spawned the classic movie in 1956. The Puppet Masters is a better story with clever dialogue and action, the parasites are well thought out and this movie stays true to Heinleins work. I cannot quite understand why this movie's only movie (no remakes of this one) wasnt made earlier. However, this is made well, the acting is worthy and FX really make you squirm. This is the story that inspired movies like: Invasion of the body snatchers, The Faculty, Invasion, Invasion (TV series) and even the 1951 & 1988 versions of The Thing! which told similar stories. I hope this has been educational and even though the movies that took similar ideas from the source these are still worthy to own on DVD!

A small town is rapidly being taken over by mutant stingrays from outer space. If your a fan of 'Invasion Of the Body Snatchers' then you might like this, as they have a very similar plot, and ideas.
