This film is really good it has a great cast, and a great storyline and when all that comes together it creates this unmissible comedy. Throughout the film i noticed that everything was really opposite, police officer getting with a member of the mafia, someone from a quite conservative, well of background marrying someone that dresses totally outrageously and is not that well off, add to that the farther nearly goes bankrupt, i mean it's so full of it I`d defiantly recommend you give it a try, you'll find yourself watching it over & over again.

Excellent comedy with Alan Alda and Madeline Kahn giving great performances as would be expected. The plot maybe predictable but this does not detract from the enjoyment of the film, a movie with a feel good ending and the usual everybody ends up happy except for the bad guy.
