What is left to say now about the ozric tentacles? In this their 20th anniversary ball at the Shepherd's Bush Empire they transcended all superlatives (again). This double live CD will rank alongside Hawkwind's Space Ritual as one of the greatest achievements in space rock. Crank up your speakers, lights down, and imagine yourself inches away from jumpin' Jon and the magician incarnate that is Ed Wynne. The musicianship and improv are phenomenal and set a benchmark for future explorations into the world of sonic potential. For anyone who was lucky enough to have been there this is a perfect souvenir for what was a great night. Lets hope there's footage of the dancing virgin of the Nodens Ictus set in the DVD!
