A telling sleeve note, because over the next 60 minutes, we hear the Kid in full culture-jamming flow, hijacking everything from bootleg culture standards (Missy Elliot's "Get Ur Freak On", Kylie's "Can't Get You Out My Head") to totally unexpected picks from the vault (Radiohead's "Creep", the Bangles' "Walk Like an Egyptian") and forcing snippets of them into perverted dancefloor medleys with the whiplash crack of modern R&B and the anarchic spirit of left-field electronica. "Rebel Girl" finds the Kid reaffirming his vows to the punk-rock aesthetic with a screeching overhaul of the Bikini Kill original, while the cheeky "MP3 Killed the CD Star" tosses cuts of D12's "Purple Pills", the Artful Dodger's "Re-rewind", and Buggles' "Video Killed The Radio Star" into the audio blender.
