The 2002 FA Cup Final - Arsenal met Chelsea for the first time at this stage in the first all-London final since '82, and 90 minutes later it was the red half of the stadium who were in party mood. The atmosphere was tremendous, but unfortunately the first half failed to live up to the hype. It was a pretty desperate affair, with both teams' main priority keeping their sheet clean, as it were. Chelsea just shaded possession, but Arsenal created the better chances - Bergkamp should have scored with a looping header and Lauren connected with a Wiltord cross, his effort beat Cuddicini but flew inches over the Chelsea bar. At the other end, it was routine stuff for Dave Seaman, who got a wee leg-up from Chelsea who risked the injured Hasselbaink who was clearly unfit and being carried. The second half saw constant Chelsea pressure, and it was odds on that the trophy was going to Stamford Bridge. Seaman pulled of a stunning save to tip a dipping Gudjohnsen effort over, but against the run of play, Arsenal scored. Parlour broke away and took a flick from Wiltord 20 yards upfield - he then sent a stunning curler into the top corner. Chelsea piled forward but Ashley Cole broke away and from this Thierry forced a cracking save from Cuddicini. The game was settled on 80 minutes - and what a way to win a cup final. Freddie Ljungberg, having been mostly anonymous, recieved a pass from Edu and with electrifying pace beat three Chelsea defenders, shrugged off John Terry and curled an incredible shot inside the far post. The video does exactly what it says on the tin - has the entire game. For fans of the Arsenal, it's pretty essential. Chelsea fans might want to give it a swerve however.
