Minder was a classic show, it had great characters played by fine actors, there were classic stories and lines. It had been repeated on Paramount Comedy, Men & Motors and is currently being shown on ITV4. The picture quality on these DVDs is very grainy, there is a lot of print and longer shots look out of focus.

Plus the episodes have been edited from 60 minutes and seem to run out at 48 minutes or 49 minutes, why Clear Vision did this I will never, they could've made some effort into digitally remastering & restoring the episodes, personally I think Network should've handled the Minder releases, because they did an amazing job of tidying up and remastering episodes on the Sweeney boxsets. Still, I'd rather have edited episodes of Minder than no episodes at all.

The technical picture quality is excellent however BEWARE the episodes are CUT. The cuts seem to be in more than one place and have completely spoiled my enjoyment of the shows. The last episode I watched (4/9 Windows) ran out at just over 49 minutes. The DVDs are now all in the bin.
