1.0 out of 5 stars The worst kind of piffle, 16 Mar 2004
By K. J. Walker "Kiernan Walker" (London) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Not being forced to watch I'm a hasbeen please shoot me in the temple or whatever the latest celeb driven brainrot that comprises prime time television these days, it is a long time since I have been subjected to this sort of thing. On browsing 'items to come', I see that there was a whisper of this fellow releasing new material. A search was in order to see how horrifying the prospect was. Such a search directed me here.

On perusing the track list, I remember I was seeing someone who liked this rot at the time and I was 'exposed' to it. The passing of time is not a great healer in this regard. Although I only remember a portion of the tracks on 'offer' here, I can summon up sufficient memory to recall that this was the worst type of nonsense. Aimed squarely at the pre-pubecent girl who fantasises at the image rather than listens to the tune, voice, or worst still, the words of this brainless pap, this deserves to be rejected and young Mr Andre reminded that his time is long past. Indeed, it should never have been.

5.0 out of 5 stars Peter Andre: The Unfolding Text, 19 Sep 2005
By A Customer
The semiotic thickness of this masterwork is favourably counterpointed by the solipsistic narrative inherent within the startling sonic soundscape. The lyrical bible that accompanies the disc shows an innate knowledge of and love for aural pleasure at its most profound. The seminal studies of Todorov and Propp are as nothing compared to Peters sensuous and mischievous pop pixie posturing!!!!!

1.0 out of 5 stars A one hit wonder returned, 20 Feb 2004
By A Customer
I read a review on this site that compared Peter Andre to J.S. Bach. I seriously hope they were holding their tongue very firmly in their cheek. For anyone who is considering buying this album...don't. Go out and find out what music is all about, listen to some Bach, listen to some Nirvana, listen to some Jurrasic 5. If you want to hear some thing with passion from someone who really cares about music, then don't buy this album. If you want to listen to trashy pop, with no emotion behind it whatsoever, then please go ahead and purchase. Real music doesn't need you anyway!
