A new stand-alone game, Counter-Strike: Condition Zero (CS: CZ) extends the award-winning Counter-Strike multiplayer game with new maps, weapons and more, while simultaneously introducing new technologies, an extensive single-player campaign, and cooperative play.

Texas-based Gearbox Software is codeveloping CS: CZ with Valve--the same partnership that produced the bestselling Half-Life: Opposing Force and Half-Life: Blue Shift expansions. For CS: CZ, Gearbox has created an extensive single-player campaign that includes more than two-dozen new missions and takes players to several fictitious regions of conflict around the globe. In addition to the single-player campaign, players will be able to set up cooperative games via Internet and LAN connections.

This game is brilliant, the single player missions arn't the best but are still good. What is really fantastic about the game is the online play. It has revamped all the maps from counter strike 1.6 and in my opinion made the gameplay for fun.
Once you get into this game you will be addicted.

Counter strike is probably the best online game. Don't be put off by dieing immediatly on games, keep on practising and choose different skill levels. I bought this game 3/4 of a year ago and i'm still playing. To play online i would advise having broadband because you need fast reactions and slow movements will not aid you. But the offline mode is as good and trains you up!
BUY THIS GAME!!!!
