In Eurofighter Typhoon Operation Icebreaker the tables are turned and you must attack Iceland, now fully occupied by the Russians. This time you are based on aircraft carriers with a navalised version of Typhoon that challenges you with carrier take offs and landings

Your mission is to rescue six of your companions, who will prove vital to help you win increasingly difficulty missions against Russian secret weapons. What's more the clock is ticking, as the Russians are busy constructing the ultimate weapon. It's up to your team to stop them in their tracks

Eurofighter Typhoon: Operation Icebreaker is a gold pack; it includes the original game (with added weather effects!) and the added missions, for less price than the original!
Rage have out-done themselves with another brilliant flight sim! The game has a manual and a strategy guide installed with the game. The strategy guide is very useful to success on the original game, but doesn’t help much with the add-on missions. The add-on missions are for people who have played Eurofighter Typhoon, but if you’re feeling up to it you can play these first.
In the add-on missions you must save pilots (that you choose at the beginning) from the Russians (who have occupied Iceland), who are critical to the war effort, and stop the Russians from completing their ultimate weapon. You are challenged with carrier take-off and landing. The add-on starts in a dogfight, and after you’ve landed each mission you will take-off for the next in a few minutes. This makes it action-packed.
Eurofighter Typhoon is the opposite. Russia is invading Europe. You are part of a Typhoon squad on Iceland. Iceland is the supply route to Europe. You control 6 pilots. If all the pilots die, you’ve lost. Stop the Russians in an all out battle, or Iceland shall be over taken!
Aircraft and Weapons: The Eurofighter is easy to fly and has simple systems, making you able to concentrate on destroying the enemy. Weapons are easy to use you can fire them any when! The only shoot cue is a range bar on the radar display. Weapons include the ASRAAM short-range missile, the meteor long-range missile, the BL-755 cluster bomb, air-to-ground missiles and the Mauser 27mm cannon. NATO aircraft include the Eurofighter, Gripen, Tornado, Chinook, Hercules and more. Russian aircraft include the Mig-29 and Mig-27, the Su-27M and Su-25, the Tu-22 and the hind helicopter, to name just a few.
Missions: you will fly an assortment of missions in Eurofighter Typhoon. You can first fly training missions in Iceland and learn how to fly and communicate. You can change weapons and routes in the planing room. You will fly a campaign with scripted missions and missions made by influences on the war. The campaign is long but it does have a time warp to speed up game play. You will fly combat air patrols, interdictions (strikes) on tanks, airfields and dock cranes. These missions are challenging, but you can save before you carry out the mission objectives. There are also multiplayer missions; the co-operative ones can be played with computer aircraft as well as over the net. There are new multiplayer carrier missions as well.
Graphics, effects and environment: the new effects are the rainstorms and snow blizzards. The rain runs along the cockpit canopy, which looks really good! Explosions are realistic-you can get hit by the debris of an exploding ground target, or an aircraft you have hit with cannons! Iceland is very detailed; all the towns are included and landmarks, like the volcano and the glaciers, are very viewable from the aircraft’s cockpit. The plane and ground graphics are very detailed making it easy to identify the ground and the aircraft.
To sum it up the game is an action-packed, simple, good quality game that I would recommend to anyone.

in short this game has everything you need to enjoy the thrills and spills of war in the air. A must for all combat lovers!!

This is not the most dynamic flight sim. Many others fly and fight more realistically. If you are looking for a game that will keep you entertained, without physically having to learn how to fly, then this is a good buy.

Graphics are good, missions are varied. Ice Breaker is a good add on to the original game.
