3.0 out of 5 stars Just the videos - no extra bits, 22 Jan 2005
I'm glad I just rented this title and didn't buy it - all you get on the DVD are the promo videos and nothing else.

I already own the VHS tape of Jesus Jones 'Big In Alaska' which has the promo videos of 'Info Freako', 'Never Enough', 'Bring It On Down', 'Real, Real, Real', 'Right Here, Right Now', 'International Bright Young Thing', 'Who, Where, Why?' - and in-between each promo are some interview clips of the band talking about each promo - none of this is on the DVD.

However in addition to the tracks listed above you get 'The Devil You Know', 'The Right Decision', 'Zeroes And Ones', 'The Next Big Thing' and 'Chemical #1' on the DVD
... but these later Jesus Jones tracks IMO are not as good as the early stuff.

One last criticism is the quality - very noticeable on 'Info Freako' - the quality is no better than the VHS; there are many artefacts on the DVD conversion which suggests to me that the source tapes they used to make the DVD were pretty poor.

I give it 3 stars because the promos are great, the music is great, and the DVD is poor.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great video history of a unique band!, 21 May 2002
By A Customer
Although singles are not the best way to look at many bands careers, this collection demonstrates JJ's various guises through the years. Visually impressive are the Perverse singles with Zero's and Ones being a rollercoster experience of motion and colour not to be missed. Being an EMI release, it misses out the recent single from the 'London' album but don't let that put you off this well priced DVD.
