The first half of this CD you could say is techno stripped down. However, it's processed into a fine shower of delicate frequecies that ulra-irradiate the listener. It's progression is well structured, there's no stagnation and it leaves a sense apprehension. Volume up high, this first half primes your neurons for the second half. The second half takes you through heavy intricate patterns, woven with atomic-clock prescision. Speedy J doesn't let up, he's twisting and morphing the scene the whole way. I have to stress that this is addictive music. Speedy J creates organic living beats and raging patterns that feed from the nipple of his technology. No comparison.

Of all that is good in techno I think only two albums I know really hits the spot. I am thinking Richie Hawtin's Decks, efx and a 909 and this one.

Speedy J created the perfect album. As it was released back in 2002 he must have had his eye on the future because even now, 6 years later, there is no other who has even come close. It's a highly intelligent and creative album that starts of rather experimental slowly flowing into a frenzy of Hardcore Techno that keeps on building and simply doesn't stop building. Once you're into the fifth track you find yourself jumping around with a big fat smile on your face and he doesn't let go until the end of the disk.

A little anecdote about this disk: It is the only album that managed to literally set my cd-player on fire... ;P

It is raw. It is industrial. It is rich, colourful and relentless. It is hard stomping, banging techno that makes no concessions and it is exactly the way it should be.

Great work. Great album.
