'Rachid Taha Live' is the fifth albim from Rachid, and follows on from his 2000 release 'Made In Medina'. Collaboratingwith long term producer Steve Hillage, the result is a blend of dance rhythms and rock, with influences of Middle-Eastern, European, and African world music. Recorded live in Brussels 2001.

What blinding performance by Rachid Taha. From the first few opening bars of this album, right to the very end, you will be treated to a feast of the highest quality. The old favourites such as Ya Raya are slowly and tantilisingly offered to the audience with well composed and well arranged intros.
Taha's insistence throughout the recording on making sure that "ont va pas trop se prendre aux serieux, ont va faire la fete" is very evident; a great atmosphere and first class music.
Any fans of 1,2,3,Soleils with Taha, Khaled and Faudel or Arabesque Zoudge 2 will be very pleased with this album.
