This CD looks very good on paper/track list, with 'all the favourite Disney tracks'. But as another reviewer so helpfully said, this is deceptive as the tracks are not the original tracks that appear in the films. It's not that the artists' renditions are bad--it's just that they sound so different from what you fondly remember from watching the films that you may (this was certainly the case with me) refuse to get used to them.

I don't know about you but when I buy a Disney Soundtrack I want the songs to sound the same as in the films. So why do Disney insist on using 'stars' to recreate the songs when the originals were perfectly good in the first place.

I mean Shaggy absolutely ruins Under the Sea from the Little Mermaid-the man can't even sing in time.

Yes all the songs are there and yes most of them sound ok, but all I wanted to listen to was the songs as if they were in the film. If that's what you're expecting you are in for a dissapointment.

It's really great to see at last a CD that has really popular songs all the way through-my kids are finally happy and I don't have to keep getting up to change the tracks!!
But joking aside it is a album everyone can enjoy because they are all tracks we know. This CD has a good mix of old and new and you can instantly recognise each hit-well the children certainly can! In fact it's not really for them- it's for me and I love it. Thanks
