4.0 out of 5 stars Aquiesque mixed with supersonic...except better, 20 Mar 2002
By A Customer
A retreat from former pre album singles, "go let it out" and "d'you know what I mean" the song has got the vibrance of "Aquiesque" mixed with "Supersonic"...except better. Its the kind of single which all oasis fans anticipated would follow morning glory. The treble and fuzz are turned right up on the guitars with a simple cathchy guitar riff running right through the song..the length is just right.Noels lyrics are anthematic and in you face.Only liams maturer vocals (which are great) let you know that this is not 1994.Swaggering along in Burnage mode with a raw sixties-ish vibe...the song puts the over production and experimentation of the last two albums in the bin .It has the the energy of a debut single of a new band . If the album which follows is as good, oasis may rekindle thir former glory this summer. Its the sound of the oasis weve missed...If definatly maybe was your favourite album youll love this song ...

5.0 out of 5 stars Back to the Rock n' Roll Routes, 20 Mar 2002
By R. Patel "Bush4ever" (Texas) - See all my reviews

This is an excellent song from oasis, it's got that high octane cocky rock n roll of the old days. It's catchy and never loses it's edge. I can't wait till the album Heathen Chemistry comes out. The riff is a rock n' roll take on a hindu like riff.

Liams voice over the year has taking it's toll, but he's still great, probably all the cigarettes and alcohol. ;-)

Overall, it's a beautiful song. Back to the roots as 'Cuz God gave me soul in your rock n roll'!

Cool

5.0 out of 5 stars They've got flair and I believe that they walk on air, 8 Mar 2002
I am biased cus I live and breathe this bands music, I dream of a return to those mid nineties summer days of listening to morning glory and definately maybe, then music was exciting. Lets be realistic thats never going to happen, theres more chance than Damon albarn growing hair. This song is everything you could hope for as a fan, its catchy not too long and not too over-produced. Its a nice teaser for the new album.
