The first 30 seconds of the first track, which you can preview on Amazon, gives you a good flavour of what you are about to experience. The first thing that comes to mind is a touch of Groovers in the Heart (Deelite), which will just make you smile and want to get down. As you progress you will experience some seriously funky break beat. Ursula 1000 are produced by the same label that bring you the Thievery Corporation and Blue States which adds another reason to purchase this. Ursula 1000 also have a residency at the Soho Grand Central in New York so if you get a chance go and see them playing a great live set.
