5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Acoustic Rock Album: Not To Be Missed!!!, 7 Jul 2002
I can't believe nobody has reviewed this album. This is one of the best albums of the year. I think it has not been noticed because it's defined as a soundtrack, but it's more a really good acoustic rock album mostly by a band called King Black Acid who at times sound like Pink Floyd in More and Obscured By Clouds.
All the songs are hooked by Twin Peaks/X Files style crossovers which really gives the cd a dark mood. The songs get better and better until they finally peak with the great song Soul System Burn.
In short if you are looking for acoustic rock cd which hasn't been played to death this is it: Excellent!!!
There is also a 2nd CD of the music from the film which is in the same mood. Not as good, but a nice bonus. The first CD is a classic.

5.0 out of 5 stars Took Me By Surprise, 14 Dec 2002
By A Customer
Apart from the stunning film score to the movie on one CD, there is another CD of songs inspired by the film which was an unexpected addition. This bonus CD is truly excellent, a hint of Pink Floyd here and there but a CD you will play again and again.
