This is one of those quirky movies that just gets under your skin. It helps that I could look at William Hurt for two hours just sitting in a chair saying nothing and still give him five stars. Being a Dubliner, I found it strange listening to the accents in this movie. Its quite astounding how the Newfoundland accent is very similar to the Dublin accent. The crazy idea to create a fake rare bird just to attract all the bird watchers was hilarious. Andy Jones is great as the somewhat mad inventor friend of William Hurt - watch out for the submarine !!! Definitely worth a watch, will put a smile on your face.
