Dance yourself dizzy with Dancing Stage Euromix and the Spectravideo dance mat, compatible with both PSone and PlayStation 2. There are 24 songs to shake your booty to--including Gloria Gaynor's I Will Survive, Word Up from Cameo, Buggles' Video Killed the Radio Star, and Boyzone's So Good. The giant mat with sensors (which is also compatible with various other dancing games) replaces the joypad, and the aim is to mimic steps on the screen by moving your feet in time with the beat. The dance mat is compatible with both PSone and PS2 consoles; it features four action buttons and start/select controls. It has a heavy-duty plastic covering and hard wearing pressure pads.

Having seen the Dancing Stage in arcades but never having the nerve to embarass myself in front of everyone there, I was so pleased to find the Dancing Stage for PS1 so I could have a go at home.
It's great fun and great exercise, even including a Workout Mode which counts the calories you've burnt - much more fun than the gym!
There is a selection of 24 songs to dance to and 4 levels for each song, ranging from very easy to virtually impossible. When you get better than beginner though the range of songs is limited as only a few are fast/difficult enough for improvers. This means it can get a bit tedious as you end up with a reportoire of about 5 songs on Difficult setting and that's it. Most people will never bother with the Boyzone number after the first day!
But for a fun workout and a great game at parties, I highly recommend Dancing Stage.

We bought Stage Euromix and dance mat bundle plus an extra mat for use at a youth club. They are really popular and in use the whole time the club is open. With two mats players can compete with each other. Others practice the moves on the floor behind the players while waiting for their turn. The dancing is equally popular with girls and boys. Amazon have done very well out of us as many families have been so impressed that they have now bought their own games and mats. Consequently the standard of dance has gone up dramatically. The kids are all using the higher levels now and leaders no longer get a look in!! Highly recommended and 'almost' as popular as football - but not quite!

If your thinking about buying this bundle, you may aswell clear your diary because you won't want to leave the house. Hours of fun can be played throughout the game with many different sections, like Workout, Arcade.... The mat itself gives a start and select button, plus an A and B button which represent X and square. This game is not only good for kids but adults will enjoy it too. But don't get them too addicted, because you won't get it back!
