I thouroughly enjoyed watching these episodes of Upstairs Downstairs which I haven't seen until now, only having been told about them by other people. However, the series lived up to what I've heard. An all star cast (Pauline Collins and John Alderton just two of the famous names here), great costumes and sets, brilliant acting, even an appearance by King Edward himself all made this a great series. The only down-side to the DVDs is that there are no extras - however, this is a great series which I would recommend to anyone who enjoys period dramas such as the Forsyte Saga.
