It remains a mystery to me why more people were not enticed to the brilliantly vibrant 2 skinee Js - furthermore why the band entered a seemingly-permanent hiatus several years ago. Over-shadowed by the more popular but infinitely inferior Zebrahead - to describe 2SJs in genre-specifics would be a tough call - undoubtedly part Hip-Hop, part grunge rock, with elements of bigbeat, psychedelia, and rap thrown in, Volumizer perhaps sees 2SJs at the height of their powers. A lot of the sampling - so evident in "Sexy Karate" is apparent here, but so to are the rocky guitar riffs and rhythmic baselines of "Super Mercado"

At such a ludicrously low price - you might as well buy this - even if you only use the disc as a tea-coaster!! Bigbeat Evangelists and Lost & Found probably the stand-out tracks. Never far from my CD player. To buy this is to love this...
