It's a case, it's made by Targus, it's black, and you can put your camera in it!

That's it, review over.

Well, except for the fact that as cases go, this the value Rolls Royce edition.

This case body is made of very good quality PVC type material, with plush padding on all interior surfaces. The top flap is probably waterproof (take your camera out of the case if you wish to test this) and fits snugly. The top flap is held down by a strong bit of velcro and has a rather snazzy engraved metal Targus logo on it.

Inside the case, there is an elasticated mesh interior pocket that runs the full width of the case and is deep enough to put a spare battery, flash memory card or other smaller accessories.

On the exterior front of the case is a 'two way zipper' pocket. I actually use this to keep my mobile (read cellular) phone in. It is about an inch deep and runs almost the full width and length of the case. Ideal for other bits and pieces that you need to carry around. This is not padded or plush.

The strap is very comfortable and adjustable. There is a rather good padded area for the shoulder for those long days out at the beach. All clips for the strap are plastic, although strong and good quality.

Now this is the best bit (are you still reading this?) The case has a belt loop on the back. Not your average insecure rubbish mind, but a strong inch thick velcro backed daddy of a belt loop. It even has an extra press stud to make sure it is not going to fall in the john when you visit the bathroom. I use this together with the shoulder strap for full 'hands free' access to my camera.

Overall I think that this case is good value. Targus make very good cases (I had one for my laptop) and I have given them a hard life before and they are always well up for the job. You need to consider that the case may well protect your expensive camera in emergencies. To skimp a few pounds on a case, could cost you a lot more in repairs!. I really wouldn't like to try this, but I think that if I dropped my case with my camera in it, the camera would survive.
