Product Description
Manufacturer's Description
This is the ideal aid to support classroom learning. Students can perform experiments in the virtual chemical laboratory found within the tutorials, and theories are presented on screen with excellent graphics and animation.

Famous scientists from the virtual staff room help to explain many of the topics. The head teacher is Marie Curie, the Nobel prize winner who pioneered the use of X-rays in medicine.

An exam section and quick fire quiz contain questions relating to the syllabus. The quiz adds fun to the learning, while the exam section tests the ability of pupils to apply their knowledge to answer GCSE-style questions that have been set by practising teachers.

Helping students in their study is a reference tool featuring the first 20 elements, the periodic table, the reactivity series, the pH scale, the oxidation and reduction series and electrolysis.

There are a number of special interactive features in the program, including a built-in bonding machine which enables students to create covalent and ionic compounds using electronic structures of the first 20 elements.
