Alex Gopher and Demon have given the French House sound true quality separately so it was with high anticipation to hear this album. Gopher's previous album You, My Baby and I had 4 or 5 killer tracks showing his range of inspiration, from Funk through true class French House to Deep House. Demon hasn't been quite as dominant in the French sound but with one of my all-time favourites, You are my High, a delicious throbbing bass sound, clever filtering (God bless those French) and vocal to keep the girls happy, WUZ should have had HIT all over it. To truely enjoy this album, set yourself up with a crisp clear system with plenty of bass, as the first 2 or 3 tracks grow into an addictive bass drug that will guarantee to remove the furniture for extra room. Gopher's influence shines through using the Vocoder without sounding like Cher. Stylish Bass is prominent on the B side with a clever mis-matched beatline, ending up in a near-enough Techno ear cruncher, just right for those 4am breakdowns. Overall: quite nice really.
