5.0 out of 5 stars UNBELIEVABLE 2 DOUBLE CD COMPILATION, 1 Jul 2002
By Ben Peel (London, England) - See all my reviews
The imaginatively titled follow up to 'Unbelievable' is one of those compilations that is sure to have you going "oh my God, remember this one" throughout it's one hundred and forty minuets of late 80's and early 90's chart hits.
Featuring many of the same artists as Volume One but with greater emphasis on dance as opposed to indie, this is a real trip down memory lane. Some of these songs haven't had an airing since 1990, and with good reason in a few cases (remember Oceanic?). However, even the tracks you don't like are sure to transport you back to a time when everything was "sound" and "groovy" and people in oversized Day-Glo shirts shouted "aciiiid" at each other in the streets. The Orb. Moby, Prodigy and The Stereo MC's. They're all here.
I can't recommend this highly enough!

5.0 out of 5 stars Retro Brilliance!!, 3 Mar 2002
By maxroper@postmaster.co.uk (Buckinghamshire, England) - See all my reviews
Sadly, I can't share any wonderful misty-eyed nostalgic stories about school or uni years spent dancing drunkenly around bars to these tracks...owing to my being a lil' nipper at the time of their original release. What I can say with certainty is that this CD wishes I'd been part of the whole scene. It encompasses everything that was good about the late-80s/early 90s musically, with the highlights of the Madchester scene and a few rather more noveltyish tracks (Yazz, Technotronic) thrown in for good measure. I wholeheartedly recommend this, and the first volume as well, for indie kids young and err...dare I say old!

5.0 out of 5 stars History in the form of a CD., 28 Feb 2002
By A Customer
This is a fantastic CD - even better than the original Unbeliveable! I was at Newcastle Poly during the early 1990s and for a few moments I was transported back to the Studio, Walkers or Just Bubblin'.
CD One is devoted to indie/ madchester classics; while CD Two is pure classic dance...KKlass...Oceanic...etc.
I recommend this CD to anyone who never wants to forget!!!
