Amazon.co.uk Review
Consoles now have little shortage of entries in the extreme sports genre, making it all the more surprising that Aggressive Inline feels that bit different from the rest in the field, and also emerges as one of the most pleasant gaming surprises of the year.

The sport at the heart of it is inline skating, which quickly provides an ample excuse for some fast skating and plenty of tricks. Backed by a friendly and genuinely helpful tutorial, the key options are all present and correct--you can play in career mode, have a free skate, take on timed runs and design your own parks too.

These modes are backed by an admittedly limited but nonetheless varied selection of bountiful levels, each of which holds plenty to keep your attention. Furthermore, each delivers a subtlety different challenge and exerts differing demands on the player. That said, there's still plenty of freedom for you to master the numerous tricks and combos you need to rack up a big score.

Graphically, the game is very strong, and the gameplay is genuinely accessible, offering generous rewards whether you want a quick go or an extended session. Packed with surprises, Aggressive Inline is highly detailed, yet blissfully player-centred. It's no huge evolution in the genre, yet it's still a notable step forward and, bottom line, an excellent and highly enjoyable game. Are you watching, Tony Hawk? --Simon Brew

Product Description
Chris Edwards Aggressive Inline offers intense action via the new action button for all your skitching, pole grabbing, vaulting, and other tricks. There are nine huge levels offering tons of rails, ramps, pipes, and surprises. The game also includes 30 to 60 objectives and 10 to 15 cinematic events per level. Environments are dynamic and deeply interactive. For example, if you skate off the Atlas statue, the massive globe rolls into the street and smashes two buses that then form a half-pipe. There is an integrated Park Editor within main game levels that allows players to build terrain in order to accomplish objectives. Over-the-top tricks include hand grinds, six types of manuals, grind transitions, double leg grinds, assorted air tricks, wall taps, stalls, wall flips, and hand plants. Aggressive Inline also features insane, lightning-quick, split-screen multiplayer games.

4.0 out of 5 stars Agressive Inline Review, 4 Sep 2002
Looking at screen shots of this game and you would think that this was just another of the many Extreme Sports games out there, however this is no ordinary game. The controls differ for a start. The one button is used for grabs, flips and combos, which makes for better play (no more fumbling around pressing the wrong button). The levels have massive replay value as once you progress past levels; you can collect Keys to unlock areas of previous levels. And you no longer have to worry about the timer; it has been replaced with a "juice meter". This meter is replenished by doing moves or collecting "Juice" and its only "game over" when the bar is empty, so in theory you could play FOREVER.
This game is easy to just pick-up and play and it has a great choice of music which adds to the playability of the game. The great thing about the X-box is that if you don't like the music, you can play our own tunes from the X-box hard drive.
There are a few criticisms of the game and that is that it has a few glitches, such as blood floating in the air when you "bail" on a move or Mysteriously falling off a ledge onto a lover level, however this does very little to retract from the playability and hours of enjoyment that this game gives you.
Excellent Dude!

4.0 out of 5 stars Aggresive Inline rules, 12 May 2003
By A Customer
The graphix - arn't exactly perfect but you will be far from dissapointed because thay are so varied and colourfull. 7/10

The sound - depends on your taste but if you are into punkrock then the chances are your not going to be a big fan of hip hop aswell but you can listen to your own music of the hard drive! 10/10

Realism and range - It all depends if you blade or not.
If you don't then the choice of skaters and moves will be fine, with a few obvious technical glitches and what can be very deppresing challenges is all narrowed out by the unrepetetive gamplay and smooth action.

If you do blade (aggressivley) then the story may be abit different, you can front flip but not 540 out of a grind on a knee high ledge!
The range in skaters isn't very good either, most of the skaters are international not british and american, and the only mostley street skater is Frankie Morals, i would much rather play as Jon Julio than Jaren Grob.
Nor are the tricks, there are many grinds like soul and makio, but what about the farvs and top side acids? You can do things like farves by 180 royaling however.
There is also no blade customisation.
I have been very picky but this really deserves 8/10

The gamplay - Weather you blade or not this is fantastic.
If not then you can concentrate on about 60 challenges per level! With about 50 hours of gamplay to 100% complete it!!!

If you do blade then it is fun perfecting things like a smooth alley-oop royale down a hand rail, whilst enjoying all the other things the game has to offer.
Exelent, 9/10

Over all i think this game deserves a 9/10 because it is exellently addictive with unique surroundings and gameplay, this will leave you glued for hours!
