1.0 out of 5 stars For MK fans only, 21 Mar 2002
By AJ Armer (Liverpool, England) - See all my reviews
I've played Mortal Kombat and enjoyed it on other Platforms so I was expecting good things of it on the GBA, sadly I was expecting too much. The graphics are poor and it seems to take about a second between you pressing the button and having your character throw a punch. The fatalities are there but badly done so you can't really see what's going on. This is really only a game for Mortal Kombat fans as other people will find it's controls lacking and graphics poor. It's a shame as it could have been done so much better. Let's hope that they can get their next attempt a bit better than this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars mortal kombat-will the advance show it's true colours?, 11 Mar 2002

Mortal combat has always been one of those addictive button bashing wonders but; can it still be the beat em up of the century on the gameboy advance?
This game is brilliant, sheer mortal kombat but now on the move, play as old favourite characters such as Liu-Kane,Jax and Sonya blade.M.K.A allows you to manouevre moves like the deadly finishing kiss with sonya and the famous wind kick with Liu-Kane.
I highly reccomend this game for beat em up lovers, this game brought me hours of gaming entertainment but takes alot of skill to complete go out and get this game it's worth your money.

3.0 out of 5 stars not bad , could be better ..., 13 Jul 2007

Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
perhaps the most annoying thing about this game are the sound effects/music. the game itself is good and a good conversion to the GBA console. However when characters jump they make noises like animals in pain and the stage music are opften short tunes on constant repeat. If you can put up with that , its a good game.
