5.0 out of 5 stars Raw energy in a box..., 18 Feb 2002
By M. Wilcox "elvendil" (UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
OK, i didn't particularly like Progressive Euphoria as i'm more inclined toward the melodic trance side of dance with a little more pace. John 00 Flemming did a very good job of the mixing on that album however, so i waited in anticipation for this morning to arrive. White Label was released today!! An hour after the shops opened i was listening to CD 1...and was mildly dissapointed.
'ahhh, it's still progressive' i thought. not quite quick enough, too much emphasis placed on the swirly noises and not enough on the beat. Paced too slow by a tiny bit. Hmph! I skipped a few tracks and let track 9 play (ARRIKIS Aira Force [lemon8 mix]). Ohhhhh, THATS my baby! Listened to it from there and was very impressed. Much more pumping while still being so very very smooth. From there it's a trip into another world. The first tracks, i have discovered, are to ease you in. They're very nice tracks, but they are not the core of this album. They prep you for what is to come. This isn't in the same vibe as the -excellent- Total Euphoria, yet it's just as good in it's own way. I suspect it will be harder for people to get. I don't think it will be as sucessful or accessable as Total. This is music from the underground. This is music with much more intelligence and edge than more commercial stuff. This is where the commercial stuff starts life, before the commercial mixing is slapped on the songs. This is the raw song, how it's ment to be heard. There is some stuff on here that hasn't even been -pressed- yet, it's come straight from the artist to this album. I mean that litterally, one of these songs was three hours old when it was put on this comilation. How cutting edge new do you want it to get?!
This summer i will guarentee you will hear a lot of these songs in different mixes pumping across the airwaves and in the clubs.

GET this album. Put it on and give it a few listens. You'll get it, but you won't get it first time.

5.0 out of 5 stars THE BEST EUPHORIC DANCE COMPILATION, 20 Feb 2002
By A Customer
This great album mixed by John '00' Fleming is straight off the floor, untouched, untainted by the charts, and so far unloved. That's were you come in, 'cos the second you throw this baby into your CD player it'll never leave. Great tunes such as Soltice, The Mighty Shari and Liquid Skies by Deedrah will leave you reeling for another big night out. White Label Euphoria gives you the same feeling of satisfaction as leaving a club at 7 in the mornin' and that tingle down your spine never leaves. This is by far the best album in the euphoric series so far, '00' Flemings mixing allows the music to flow through you, it really is seamless, but what else do you expect from this master? This album is for the serious club junkie but your bound to love it anyway. This will stand on the top of your selection 'cos it really does deserve to be there!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars White Label Euphoria - An Increadible Album, 17 April 2003
This is one of the best albums I have ever heard. It has a fresh feeling, and (by the very nature of what it is) steers well clear of the overdone, commercial rubbish. John "00" Flemming influences the album by giving it a progressive feel: - If you like that kind of thing you are guarenteed to love this album, if not you will probobaly still enjoy the album, just not hold it in as high reguard. Tracks like Graham Fee - "Forever", the Digital Blonde tracks, Human Blue tracks, and John Askew - "Vellium" are amoung the best, although the whole album is very good with all tracks worthy of being on it. The album is well mixed, and has a good flowing feel as a whole: it stands up as a album rather than just as a collection of good tracks.

4.0 out of 5 stars A good solid group of tracks from unsigned artists.
A great CD with all the qualities of a typical clubbing compilation. A worthy addition to any Trance-addict's collection.
