Full Moon

Every song on the album falls into the genre of R'n'B/Soul, but there are many other influences from other genres too, such as the excellent Eastern-influenced 'Apart' and the absolutely beautiful 'Love Wouldn't Count Me Out', which is full of big orchestral arrangements and a strikingly dramatic and honest chorus. 'Wow' is an uplifting and thought-provoking song, with pop-style strings and a gospel-influenced vocal arrangements. The are many catchy numbers that you can dance to, such as 'I Thought', 'Can We' and of course, the amazing single 'What About Us'.

It is rare to find an album where every song stands out and even the 'Intro' could be released as a single, but Brandy has achieved this and more with 'Full Moon'. It is also rare for one so young (Brandy is just 23) to achieve so much and make such a great album. I wholly recommend this album to anyone - ANYONE!

WORST SONG: I love every song, but if you made me pick i suppose it would be 'When You Touch Me'.

1.B rocka intro- Funky, futuristic sounding, "What About Us" remix introduction to the album.
2. Full moon-(10/10) Slick RnB track with a great bouncy drum beat. Great chorus, lyrics and nice, sweet singing, vocals from Brandy.
3. I thought-(9/10) Feisty, loud, track produced by Darkchild. Catchy chorus!
4. When you touch me-(8/10) Sweet, soulful ballad, about the one you love. Sweet and romantic track.
5. Like this-(8/10) Bouncy, soulful track, which is nice.
6. All in me-(10/10) Upbeat RnB track, which sounds a bit like "Full Moon." It's very catchy with a great chorus.. Brandy sings well on this!
7. Apart-(10/10) Very Slick, urban, 'in the street' type of song. It's got a very funky Mary J Blige thing going on!
8. Can we?-(10/10) Funky, futuristic, "What About Us" RnB sounding song, with a funky singing style. An excellent, catchy chorus and great lyrics.
9. What about us-(10/10) The hit funky, bouncy hip-hop sounding track. Great song, should have been Brandy's #1.
10. Anybody-(10/10) Gritty RnB track with a funky chorus. Very cool track!
11. Nothing-(8/10) Soulful, slow ballad with sweet vocals, harmonious music.
12. It's not worth it-(10/10) One of the best songs on the album. Brandy's voice is excellent, sounding a bit like Michael Jackson's. It starts of slow like a ballad but develops into a fast RnB song.. Catchy, brilliant chorus and lyrics. Could have been a #1 if Brandy released it! Loved it!
13. He is-(7/10) Sweet, romantic, slow ballad about your lover. A nice one, not the best though.
14. Come a little closer-(9/10) Breakthrough, mature ballad, with great lyrics and chorus. Nice ending to the song.
15. Love wouldn't count me out-(10/10) The best ballad on the album. Very emotional sounding, great sad atmosphere to match the song, heart-warming lyrics, excellent chorus. Love the ending to the song.
16. Wow-(10/10) A sweet inspirational poppy RnB track about keeping a smile on your face and being a strong individual. Could have been a #1 if Brandy had released it! Love the breathtaking, funky chorus and Brandy's voice is brilliant!
17. Another day in Paradise-(10/10) Bouncy, urban, inspirational RnB track about appreciating our gifted life. Great song and a funky duet with her brother!

Full Moon is a great album and I hope there's more to come from now-mum Brandy. Meanwhile, this is a great album to listen to from the great singer! Go and buy it!
