Product Description
Manufacturer's Description
When the men from the Air Ministry went to a demonstration flight of the de Havilland D.H.98 prototype in late 1940, they were amazed to see a twin-engined aircraft that could outperform almost all the RAF's front line fighters. It could climb to over 35,000 feet and its top speed was approaching 400mph. What's more, as much of the airframe was made of wood, it didn't rely on large amounts of hard-to-find steel or aluminum. They weren't long in placing an order for what was to become one of Britain's most successful aircraft--the de Havilland Mosquito. It went on to excel as a fighter, bomber and reconnaissance aircraft in almost every theatre of war and didn't go out of service until 1961.

Now you can experience one of the most thrilling machines that ever took to the skies in this fantastic expansion for Flight Simulator 2000/2002 and Combat Flight Simulator 2.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good 'add on' and a different subject for a flight sim., 3 Aug 2002
By Nick Thompson (Northampton England) - See all my reviews
My system specs are PIII 1 Ghz Processor, 384 Mb of 133Mhz RAM, Hercules Prophet 4500 64 Mb graphics, sonic fury sound card, surround sound speakers and joystick.

Overall, I have been very pleased with this and the 'Pearl Harbour' add on I have purchased from Just Flight. The graphics are excellent, and the frame rates are comparable with those I get in the 'normal' CFS 2 PTO game (any where between about 24 and 50 FPS depending on what is happening, running in 1024x768 with most graphics options turned up high or to maximum.)

Installation was easy and went without any problems. The plane, single missions and campaign are then available either via a desktop icon or through the CFS 2 menus. A small manual is included which gives details of installation, cockpit layouts and game controls, and includes some historical information on the missions flown.

The missions themselves are one of the best features for me. They include various air-to air scenario
