Don't listen to the creators of "Cog", the famous Honda Accord ad of last year. They said that this German film wasn't the basis for their creation, but it SO is. Just check out the cover - that bit with the tyres rolling up the ramp, anyone?

I remember seeing this on BBC2 while channel-hopping a number of years ago. If I'd known what it was at the time, I would have taped it three times over. What's amazing is that I don't think it's ever been repeated. 'The Way Things Go' is one of the best short films I have ever seen - imaginative, inventive, intriguing, amazing - you'd have to invent new superlatives to describe it properly. It keeps you riveted to the screen just to see what's going to happen next, and how it happens.

'The Way Things Go' is kicking on for twenty years old now, but it's still as fascinating as ever. Even if, like me, you aren't a physics, chemistry or engineering student, you will be held spellbound by this wondrous piece of art in motion. The campaign for a full contemporary remake starts here...

This is just wonderful!
I do like this film - it make me smile every time I watch it.
My art foundation students think its great.
My kids wow! over it amazed!!
... the tension... timing & humour is just ... right.
30mins of captivating film, leaving you wanting more.

A favorite of mine for many years. Expect agony while this short movie glues you to the screen in an intensly geniously made suspensefull "thriller" with a happy ending...
