This album was recorded by Tom Hingley and his band, the Lovers, over a number of years. This is demonstrated by the variety of 'tone' and 'feel' of the tracks. The stand-out track is probably Happiness (no, not a cover of Doddy's), but each listen brings up previously unnoticed gems. The musical arrangements give the album much more volume than, say, Keep Britain Untidy. Your foot will ache from the toe-tapping, unless, of course, you get up and dance properly!

Work, Rest and Play is another very fine, well-constructed
