By now you will no doubt have seen the awesome video to this track as a permenant fixture on the Box/smash hits/MTV.Can you honestly remember a debut Video that hit you so hard since "baby,one more time"?Didn't think so.Gotta say my fave bit is the arse wiggle that starts an earthquake,the best unintentional side effect since the lit farts in Hear'say"pure and simple".
Anyhows,your impression will be that it's another blonde bimbo one hit wonder,Well be prepared,Globally this girl has already sold 30 million albums since the age of thirteen,writing all her own material,and can probably best be described as the south american version of Alanis Morisette,theres a real rage in her tracks(even if the english ones are translated by Gloria Estefan!!).Back home her popularity is rivalled only by Ricky Martin.Her first english language album,laundry service,follows in the uk in march,and is probably the most eclectic mix since "Woah Nellie".Oh by the way lads,look but don't touch,this 24 year old Colombian is already engaged to the son of the president of Argentina!
