Nothing to loose, 11 Feb 2002

I liked this as soon as I heard it, and now I have listened to it my time over it really sticks in the head. Becuase it is a great pop song I don't think it matters whether its number one.It is a mid tempo, almost dancey, almost ballad, Emma B's What took you so long, was also a a mix catchy pop and ballad, so it might work for Posh too. Also interesting is the range of different styles that areput out in the 3 or so minutes, we have the Posh talky rap think at the beginning, which some people laugh at, but now its also a kind of trademark that puts her appart from other artists, and I beginning to like it, then it almost goes a bit musical theatre and dramtic, but only for a few seconds, before it launches into a truly great pop chrous. Towards the end there is a bit of vocoder, or sounds like it. The funny thing is that with all this diversity it still gels: an interesting but also accessible pop anthem about being a bit dippy in your love life, heart over head is the general theme, which is heaps better and less puzzling than the messages sent out by the aweful lyrics of not Such an Innocent Girl.

An absolute favourite, 14 Feb 2002
By A Customer
A Mind Of It's Own is one the best pop ballads that I have heard in a long time. In fact it is one of my absolute favourites. The video, with a natural and gorgeous looking Victoria is just perfect for the song. I love the rap/vocal mix, and the notes that Victoria carries shows that she does have a good voice.I just had to buy the album as soon as I heard this song, as I couldn't wait for the single to be released. Having now heard Feels So Good and Always Be My Baby I had to have the DVD single as well. They are great B side songs, good enough to have actually been included on the album - perhaps they should have left off Not Such An Innocent Girl. I love the funky upbeat songs and they provide a wonderful contrast to A Mind Of It's Own. Victoria's voice also sounds alot stronger in all three of these songs.

Absolutely Perfect. Should be no.1 worldwide., 17 Feb 2002
This DVD is light years ahead of "Innonent Girl, in spite of all the special effects. Victoria looks stunning throughout, and you realise how beautful she really is.She is amazingly well groomed, and it is obvious that she has considerable acting abilites, as well as a lovely voice. The Woodland is romantic, and the house is wonderfull. The way that the action fits the words is beautiful, sometimes on the beat sometimes delayed and offset. The costume shows her slim figure so elegantly (I saw the Sun page 7), and the many facets of personality are a joy to watch."Feels so Good" has a great beat and she sings against it so poignantly .Articles say she is trying to establish herself firmly as an international Solo Artist-this package is so world class. If this DVD does not do it, then there is no world of popular music, only a void.
