This is a very good book since it does focus on COM as the title would suggest. It rightly assumes that the reader has knowledge of VB and so doesn't waste time and space going over fundamentals of the language. I'm sure that the subject could have been covered in greater depth however that would probably have affected the clarity of the material. As such this book provides a good leg up into understanding COM.
