Product Description

Product Description
In Creatures, you'll discover Albia, the wondrous place where the Norns live. They are peaceful, lovable, intelligent and curious creatures, always enthusiastic about discovering and exploring their surroundings. They will encounter many unfamiliar things which can be entertaining but dangerous, too. The evil Grendels are the greatest threat to them, but if you guide them responsibly and show them what's good and what's bad in their world, your Norns will develop a better understanding of their environment. They will eventually mature enough to care for themselves. But remember that your creatures' characteristics are handed down from generation to generation, so though you can't protect them from all harm, the more you succeed, the greater your chances that you will be blessed with masses of intelligent offspring.

Manufacturer's Description
This fascinating artificial intelligence simulation for all ages is steeped in cutting edge gameplay, challenging activities and unique characters. Enter Albia, the peaceful and tranquil world of the Norns. This is the universe where the intelligent and inquisitive little Creatures survive, learn and evolve amongst other Norns and in their surroundings. The real fun begins in the nestery where you hatch your first baby Norn, give it a name and start exploring. Guide your Norns away from the pestering Grendels and dangerous poisonous mushrooms and watch as your artificial life prodigies learn and acknowledge each other and their surroundings. Utilising state-of-the-art scientific methods, innate properties are passed on from one Norn generation to the next, just like real life. How you choose to nurture and care for your Norns will result in how their characters and personalities will develop. Creatures have a mind of their own, but through your guidance, their curiosity, and a good helping of parental care, you will spend hours of fun exploring new worlds as you interact with other like-minded Norns.

2.0 out of 5 stars Creatures, 9 Mar 2004
this game is very cute at the begining but you soon tire of it,if you are not fast enough your whole family of creatures dies, very upsetting when children have spent hours, feeding and breeding new creatures, far to slow to keep the children amused for long, would not recomend this game far to slow and annoying.
