Cyberslam 96 took place on February 17th 1996 from the legendary ECW Arena in Philadelphia, PA. The first of five annual non-PPV supercards that took place early in calendar years, this edition was main-evented by an ECW World Heavyweight Title match between the defending champion Raven and one of his main rivals, the Sandman. Matches between these two are always unpredictable, and more of the same took place on this night! Watch all the excitement unfold on home video!

Well, I guess if you want to see the good, the bad and the ugly of early ECW this is for you.
Firstly the good: The ECW TV title match between Scorpio and Sabu is worth the price of the video alone. Its a classic wrestling match that makes full use of the time alloted to itself, with believable near falls and a couple of great spots.

However, it stands alone as a piller of excellence on the video, as the rest of the card are fairly standard ECW matches, and none really stand out. The bad then, is the waste of the Raven/Sandman match which I found really disappointing and the brawl between the Bruise brothers and Headhunters that really isn't well captured by the crew at the event.

Finally we have the ugly, whichhas to go to the ending of the Bubba Ray Dudley match which is all that appears on the tape. When a match is listed as being on a tape I expect to see the match not just the last minute. However, the great effort from Sabu and Scorpio does make up for the tapes shortcommings in my mind.
