This is the DVD format of the second single taken from Jamiroquai's highly acclaimed fifth album 'A Funk Odyssey'. This is Jamiroquai's first ever DVD release. A lot of Jamiroquai fans are wanting a DVD containing full versions of all Jamiroquai's videos but thus far there have just been a few DVD single releases. As I say this is the first(Love Foolosophy and Corner Of The Earth are bith recommended as well) and what a way to start. Firstly there is the full length video of the title track 'You Give Me Something'. This video is not the best that the band have done but its still good never the less. Then there is two audio tracks. The first, which is a bonus track is called 'Do It Like We Used To Do'. This is an excellent song. Very fast paced and funky. Type of track that makes you wanna get up and dance. Then there is a live version of the album track 'Main Vein' which has guest vocals from Beverly Knight. I think this live track was taken from the Knebworth concert of August 2001. Its a great live recording of a great song. Then there are 4 x 30 second video clips which are Virtual Insanity, Cosmic Girl, Deeper Underground and Canned Heat. Unfortunately, the full versions cannot be included with this only being a single. Hopefully the full versions will be released sometime soon. Anyway, this is an excellent DVD for any Jamiroquai fan and is recommended!!! Hope this review helps, dannyev5.
