Amazon.co.uk Review
The Nokia 8210 is a stylish and compact addition to the hugely popular Nokia range of mobile phones. It is very lightweight, has an internal antenna and fits right into the palm of your hand--it could be considered too small for those with large hands. It is packed with features, yet remains simple to use, thanks to Nokia's well thought out menu systems and logical placement of buttons. There is a 250-name internal phone book in addition to those that you can store on the SIM card, and there is space for up to 8 voice dialling slots.
The 8210 comes with over 40 ring tones included. Phone behaviour profiles can be customised and downloaded and animated screensavers set to any picture message you have stored. A vibrating alert discreetly informs you of incoming calls and messages, while four games will stop you from getting bored. T9 predictive input helps you write messages faster, with the phone having a built-in dictionary of commonly used words. You can also send and receive picture messages to other phones that support this, though this feature is network-dependent. Other features include clock, alarm, reminders, calculator, currency converter and dual band frequency for roaming. It also features the Xpress on cover system, so that you can purchase additional snap on covers and change the look and feel of your phone. A red cover is supplied with the phone. The Nokia 8210 is available on BT Cellnet's Pay and Go tariff. Basic call charges are 25p/min peak, 10p/min off-peak and 2p/min at weekends.
