They say sequels are always awful, but this doesn't apply at all!!! This film is a great spoof with some hilarious quips-I especially LOVED that bird!!...The spoof on Hannibal was great, the Haunted House bit was good seeing as that film was actually boring as heck, the Exorcist was a good spoof with the face! And everyone who did not laugh once in this film must be dead inside-Guccililpiggy or whatever, maybe you didn't get it cos you haven't watched the films so you can't think about how they've been changed???

This film is absolutely hilarious. How it has been rated so low is baffling? It is silly, yes, but the funny type of silly. The jokes in the first one are more grown-up, and so many would find that funnier, but the funny parts here are more blatent and frequent. It is a hilarious mick-take of the exorcist (at the beginning) and other haunted house flicks. But it really is a big hit and I think it must be an opinion thing, see which kind of laughs and jokes that you enjoy best, but for me, this was the funniest thing I have ever seen.

OK I agree, this film isn't exactly a classic but it has its moments. Some of the jokes are really crash and burn, and the film doesn't live up to the first installment or even Scary Movie 3 but there are a few funny bits. Stand out moments are the nike basketball commercial rip off and the mi:2 stuff. Other reviewers have been very harsh, its still not a Gigli or a Crossroads (Britney Spears). Overall, watch it once then show the basketball clip to your friends, then hide it. Or, just rent it. If you particularly enjoyed Scary Movie then this should satisfy your needs if you can't get hold of the third installment.
