I have been put off Yoga in the past by the slightly odd atmosphere of so many videos and DVDs. There's always some 40 something blonde lady fronting it selling the Yoga life and everything that goes with it. However in this I never felt like that.

Perhaps it is the fact that Kisen is male, this means at the back of my mind I'm always thinking 'well if he's done it I'm sure I'm going to be able to'. Above all however he is not airy and over the top about the use of Yoga. He tells in great detail each move and it's power, and so drives the watcher to carry on and do it. He also takes great time in doing it the first time so you get it right and I have now found I longer even need to watch the video only have it as a background help.

I would agree with other reviews that it's a little on the short side, and that the title is some what misleading although not untrue. Also if you're a real aged Yoga freak it won't be demanding enough for you. But for the beginner or never starter in my case it great. Plenty of explaination and time to get it right.

Top with one star deduction for not giving me more.

I found that the instructions were easy to follow, well paced and corrective instructions ensured that I was not doing any postures in the wrong way, that could encourage injuries. I enjoyed this DVD very much, compared to the other popular DVD and videos I have for yoga, I found it was so enjoyable that the time flew by. A sign that I not only found it enjoyable, but was able to complete the moves without too much problem, even though I have only been doing it for about two months. I also noticed that Kisens voice was relaxing, promoting a feeling of well being, but not gushing or irritating like some of the other instructors I have followed.

this is a really great video.i have bought quite a few and this one is like a proper class,with great instruction,reminders about how to syncronise the breath,and a challenging session that you can grow into.i do it everyday and have learnt so much.
